NOTES FOR THE PERFORMER
Menacing Marimba features a solo marimba in a dissonant, atonal orchestral and choral setting. It is a slow piece in thrilling and suspense mood. Melodic fragments in the solo marimba parts are juxtaposed with percussive (in particular the hi-hat from the drum set) patterns.
