NOTES FOR THE PERFORMER
This composition was written on the occasion of the wedding ceremony of Heleen Schönau and Paul Hofmeister on Friday 21 June 2002. The melodic material is based on the well-known wedding march from A Midsummer Night's Dream by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. After the introduction the theme succesively is converted into a Jazz Waltz, a Calypso, a Traditional Section, an Afro-Cuban section, and finally as a conventional March. .
